Christchurch City Council
The Christchurch City Council have provided funding through the Community Arts Development Fund, the Community Resilience Partnerships Fund, Strengthening Communities Fund, and Discretionary Fund. We appreciate the relationship we have with the Linwood Central Heathcote Community Board. Christchurch City Council recently adopted Toi Ōtautahi, the Christchurch Arts Strategy, of which hauora wellbeing is one of four pou (pillars). -
Community Organisations Grant Scheme (CoGs)
CoGs have provided a three-year grant to support staff mental wellbeing and capacity building, including supervision, cultural support and training in suicide prevention. -
Creative New Zealand
After funding the research and consultation phase, Creative New Zealand has provided support and mentoring through Community Arts Development Fund grants, an Earthquake Recovery grant, and Toi Rangatahi Engagement Fund grant for Unleashed!, supporting young people with experience of mental distress. -
Hugo Charitable Trust
At the time of the launch of the Hugo Charitable Trust, we were nominated to receive a generous donation and received further support in 2018 towards our pastoral care and mentoring of artists, and supporting young people. -
Lottery Community Fund
Lottery Community provided two-year funding towards core operating costs and Te Korimako whānau programme supporting Takata Whaiora. -
Ministry of Social Development
In 2017 we received a grant from the Social Connection Earthquake Recovery Fund for our creative in libraries. -
Rātā Foundation
The Rātā Foundation have provided funding and mentoring from 2015, including three-year funding towards our core operating costs. We also received support from their Think Bigger Fund to enable us to engage professional fundraisers to develop a fundraising strategy. -
Red Cross
In 2017 we received support to build social connection and wellbeing through creative stations in libraries, and our studio groups at Room 5. This grant also enabled us to commission an independent evaluation by Ihi Research and Development. -
Tindall Foundation – Next Gen Fund
The Tindall Foundation provided three-year funding from the Next Gen Fund for our youth arts programme Art Jam and partnership with Totara House.
